Snowboard Rental in Turkey

Board, bindings and boots together, set up for your stance (regular or goofy) and your weight. Inventory covering everything from freestyle to freeride.

Snowboard rental starts at 800 TL per day and covers the board, bindings and boots. Three days cost 1,950 TL and a week 3,600 TL. Bindings are set to your stance at handover.

Which type of snowboard should you choose?

Our boards fall into three groups, and the right one depends on where you ride and what you want to do.

Freestyle boards are short, soft and twin-tipped (symmetrical at both ends). They are designed for park and pipe, but the same qualities make them ideal for learning: easy to turn, forgiving of mistakes, controllable at low speed.

All-mountain boards sit at medium flex with a slightly directional shape. They perform evenly on piste, in powder and on hard snow — the right choice for most riders in Turkey.

Freeride boards are long, stiff and clearly directional. They keep the nose floating in deep snow and stay quiet at speed, but feel cumbersome on narrow pistes.

Your first day on a snowboard: what to expect

Snowboarding has a different learning curve from skiing. Day one is harder — you will fall a lot — but by day three most snowboarders progress faster than skiers. Knowing that difference is what stops people giving up on the first afternoon.

For your first day, always rent wrist guards. The most common snowboard injury is a sprained or broken wrist from throwing your hands out as you fall, and guards cut that risk substantially.

A helmet and impact shorts are also worth it early on. Falling backwards is unavoidable on a board, and a hit to the tailbone is both painful and day-ending.

Board length and boot size

The main variable for board length is weight, not height. A 60 kg rider and a 90 kg rider who are both 175 cm tall do not ride the same board; the heavier one needs it both longer and stiffer.

If your shoe size is EU 45 or above, ask for a wide board. On a standard width, large boots catch the snow through a turn and throw you down — it is called toe drag, and it is easy to avoid.

Frequently asked questions

How much does snowboard rental cost?

A snowboard set (board, bindings and boots) is 800 TL per day: 1,450 TL for two days, 1,950 TL for three and 3,600 TL for a week. Wrist guards and a helmet can be added as a package.

I do not know if I am regular or goofy — is that a problem?

Not at all. We work it out with a simple balance test at handover and set the bindings accordingly. Changing them later takes a couple of minutes.

Is my snowboard boot size the same as my shoe size?

Usually the same or half a size down. What matters is that your heel does not lift inside the boot — we check that together at handover.

Do you rent snowboards for children?

Yes — children's boards from 128 cm with matching boots. Helmets are free with children's sets.
