Ski resorts

The resorts we deliver to

We operate at Erciyes, Kartalkaya, Uludağ and Palandöken all season. Detailed guides to each resort are below.

Erciyes Ski Resort

Erciyes Ski Resort spreads across the northern and western flanks of the 3,917 m Mount Erciyes and, with 112 kilometres of marked runs, is the largest ski area in Turkey. Its 34 pistes — reached from the Hisarcık, Tekir and Develi gates — cover everything from wide blue slopes where a child can take a first lesson to demanding black descents that start at 3,400 m.

Kartalkaya Ski Resort sits between 1,850 and 2,200 m in the fir forests of the Bolu mountains, with 22 pistes and 25 kilometres of terrain. Being 265 km from Istanbul and 230 km from Ankara makes it the most-visited weekend ski destination in Turkey.

Uludağ Ski Resort

Uludağ is the first name that comes to mind when Turks talk about skiing. Its 24 pistes and 30 kilometres of terrain run from the hotel zone at 1,750 m to a 2,543 m summit, and it is the only major resort a skier can reach from Istanbul in half a day.

Palandöken Ski Resort

Palandöken Ski Resort runs from 2,200 m to 3,176 m, making it both the highest resort in Turkey and the one with the longest season. It can open in November and stay open into May — effectively the only place in the country for spring skiing.

Why rent ski equipment instead of buying it?

Most people who ski in Turkey spend between three and seven days a season on the slopes. Buying a full setup for that — skis, bindings, boots, helmet, goggles and outerwear — is an investment north of 60,000 TL. Renting for the same number of days costs less than a tenth of that.

The second advantage is that rental gear is current. Skis left in a cupboard for three years dry out at the base, go blunt at the edges and lose spring in the bindings. Rental equipment is serviced every season, so you ski on sharp edges and a waxed base every time.

The third is flexibility. As you improve you can try a different ski; if the snow is deep you can ask for a wider board. Equipment you own gives you none of that — renting lets you take the right kit for the day, every day.

Which ski resorts do we serve?

Our regular delivery network covers Turkey's four largest resorts: Erciyes (Kayseri), Kartalkaya (Bolu), Uludağ (Bursa) and Palandöken (Erzurum). Between them these four hold most of the country's marked terrain and the majority of its skier traffic.

At every resort we bring the equipment to your hotel. If you are not staying on the mountain, you can collect it from our meeting point at the lift base. Delivery and return are free — on your last day you simply leave the gear at the hotel reception.

Our rental equipment standard

Every ski and board in our inventory gets a full service at the start of the season: base grind, edge sharpen and hot wax. During the season an interim service follows every ten rentals. Bindings are calibrated annually and the DIN value is reset for each user at handover.

Boots and helmets are disinfected in an ozone cabinet after every rental, with liners dried right through. Outerwear is professionally laundered and its DWR water-repellent finish renewed.

Nothing in the fleet is more than three seasons old. Helmets that have taken an impact and skis with cracks are pulled immediately — a rule not every rental operation applies, and one we do not compromise on.

Frequently asked questions

How much does ski rental cost?

A ski set (skis, bindings and boots) starts at 750 TL a day and a snowboard set at 800 TL. A helmet is 150 TL, outerwear 400 TL, goggles and gloves 180 TL. From three days the daily cost drops noticeably, and a weekly package saves up to 35%.

Where do I collect the equipment?

At all four resorts we deliver free to your hotel. If you are not staying on the mountain, you can collect from our meeting point at the lift base. To return, simply leave the gear at your hotel reception.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book?

No. Once we receive your request we reserve the equipment in your name; payment is made at handover by cash, card or bank transfer.

Which sizes do you stock?

Skis from 100 to 185 cm, snowboards from 128 to 165 cm and boots from EU 26 to 47. Children's equipment is available from age four.

What happens if the equipment is damaged?

We do not charge for scratches and wear from normal use. For serious damage — a broken ski, a cracked helmet — repair or replacement is charged according to the schedule in the rental agreement.

How far in advance should I book?

A day ahead is usually enough. Over New Year, the school mid-term break and long weekends demand is very high, so book at least a week in advance.
