Choosing your rental skis is the single decision that shapes your day on the mountain. A set that is the right length, the right stiffness and correctly adjusted shortens the learning curve; the wrong one tires you out on day one and can put you off skiing altogether.

Every ski set we rent comes as skis, bindings and boots. The skis are edge-sharpened and waxed at the start of each season, and the bindings are set to the DIN standard from your height, weight, boot size and ability. That setting is what decides whether the ski releases when you fall — it is a safety item, not a formality.

Our inventory runs from short, soft, forgiving skis for beginners through all-mountain models for intermediates to stiffer, longer skis for advanced skiers. Just state your level on the request form and we will pick the right model.

How to choose your ski length

The rule of thumb is that the tip of the ski should reach somewhere between your chin and your nose. Beginners do better on shorter skis — closer to the chin — which turn more easily and feel more controllable. As you progress you move longer, because longer skis are more stable at speed.

Weight matters as much as height: at the same height, a heavier skier needs a stiffer ski. That is why our request form asks for both.

Why the DIN setting matters

DIN is the international scale that sets how much force it takes for the binding to release the ski. Set too high, the binding will not release in a fall and the risk of a knee injury rises sharply; set too low, it releases while you are simply skiing.

The correct DIN value is calculated from height, weight, boot sole length, age and ability. We do that calculation and apply the setting in front of you at handover. Never adjust bindings yourself.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a ski set rental?

From 750 TL per day. A two-day package is 1,350 TL, three days 1,850 TL and a week 3,400 TL — which brings the daily cost down to 485 TL.

Are boots included in the ski set?

Yes — skis, bindings and boots are all included. If you have your own boots and want skis only, the rate is 550 TL per day.

How far ahead should I book?

A day ahead is usually enough. For New Year, the school mid-term break and long weekends, book at least a week in advance.
