A child's ski set is not a shrunken adult set. Because children weigh less and are less strong, the skis must be far lighter and the bindings set to a much lower DIN value — otherwise the binding will not release in a fall.
A child's helmet is included free. The reason is simple: children fall more often and their heads are proportionally larger. We do not hand over equipment for a child without one.
If your child grows during the season, we swap sizes free of charge on longer rentals.
Children's ski length chart
For children the rule is clearer than for adults: the ski should reach somewhere between chest and chin. For a complete beginner, going shorter still speeds up learning.
Do not size up so they can "grow into" it. A child whose first experience is on skis they cannot control usually gives up before they start enjoying it.

Most children can start learning at four. Three is possible, but lessons at that age need to be kept very short.
