How the Rental Works
No app, no account, no prepayment. The process has four steps and takes about five minutes of your time.
1. The request: what we need to know
To pick the right equipment we need five things: height, weight, shoe size, ability on skis or a board, and which resort you are going to. Those five data points determine everything from ski length to binding setting.
Be honest about your level. Giving stiff equipment to someone who wrote "advanced" but skis three days a year only makes their first day harder. If you are unsure, just note in the comments how many years you have skied and which runs you feel comfortable on.
2. Quote and confirmation
We come back within 30 minutes by WhatsApp or phone. The quote covers the total price, the delivery point and time, the equipment list and any alternatives we suggest.
Once you confirm, the equipment is reserved in your name. There is no prepayment, and you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before delivery.
3. Handover: a five-minute check
Three things happen at handover and none of them should be skipped. First, the boot try-on: you put the boots on and walk in them for a few minutes. Second, the binding setting: the DIN value is calculated from your data and applied in front of you. Third, helmet fit: the helmet should not fall off when you tip your head with the strap undone.
Those three checks take five minutes. Rushing past them is a cost you pay for the rest of the day.
4. Return and size changes
To return, simply leave the equipment at your hotel reception and we collect it. If you picked it up at a meeting point, you return it there.
If the equipment does not suit you on the first day we change it free of charge. Boots pinching, skis feeling long, board feeling heavy — one call and we swap it the same day.
What to bring yourself
A short list of things that are not part of the rental and that you should bring:
- Thermal base layers, top and bottom — synthetic or merino, never cotton
- Thin, seamless ski socks — a single layer, not thick ones
- Sunscreen (SPF 50) and lip balm — snow reflects UV
- A neck gaiter or buff and a spare pair of gloves
- Photo ID — needed at handover
