Rental Agreement Terms
The key clauses of the rental agreement signed at handover are summarised below.
Rental period
The rental period is calculated in days and runs from the time of handover to the same time the following day. There is no surcharge for night skiing.
Extensions are possible subject to availability, provided you request the extension before the current period ends.
Handover and return
At handover the equipment is checked together, the bindings are adjusted and the boots are tried on. The equipment is deemed received once that check is complete.
Return is to the point of collection or to your accommodation's reception. It is the renter's responsibility to return the equipment complete.
Damage, loss and theft
No charge is made for scratches and wear from normal use. Where damage is repairable, the repair cost is charged; where it is not repairable, or in case of loss, the charge is based on the current value of the equipment.
In the event of theft, a police report must be filed and a copy provided.
Cancellation and changes
A booking may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before delivery. Where there is insufficient snow or the resort is closed, cancellation is free in all cases.
If the equipment does not suit you within the first day, a size or model change is made free of charge.
Renter responsibilities
The renter agrees to use the equipment only on marked pistes and for its intended purpose. Altering the binding settings is prohibited; the renter is responsible for damage or injury resulting from altered settings.
For users under 18, parental consent is required and a helmet is mandatory.
